Lehigh County Fishing

Featured Replies

I'm going to school in Lehigh county and I really need some advice on fishing here because I'm not from around here. I am primarily a bass fisher but I also fish for catfish, musky, and trout. Any spots or suggestions you guys have?

Well leaser lake will be making a comeback in the next year or two. Had to drain because of a cracked dam. Filled up now. If your a freshman by the time your a senior that lake should be awsome. Haha. Also you have the little lehigh for trout ( fly fishing if you want) nockamixon lake shouldn't be too far away. That lake is pretty good too.

You can still fish leaser lake people are still catching from out of there. These are all the waters I have fished. There should be plenty more. I just never fished them. Sorry hope this helps a little.

Last week I fished the Little Lehigh for trout just down stream from the covered bridge by the hatchery. Cought my limit it is a great place to wade.

There are some guys on this forum that hopefully will chime in on the Lehigh River. There is also the canal next to the river but I'm in Carbon so I can't provide specifics. Nock is probably the best in your area but hopefully someone will guide you on the smaller ponds in the area.

Do you have a boat?
