Stretch before and after a day on the water and your issue will probably go away. 

 

this is probably the best advice in this thread and what my response was going to be. stretching before any physical activity which involves consistent muscle use helps prevent injury and also helps prevent soreness afterwards. before you get in that kayak you should stretch out your arms, legs, and back. i admit i dont follow the stretch after thing, but i have never really thought about it, i also have no doubt that it will help too though...
