Lew's Custom Speed Stick Crankbait One Model

Featured Replies

Has anyone used the new Custom Speed Stick Crankbait One Model?

I just got one and have not used it yet, nobody local carries them so had to order it, seems STIFF for a Medium Power Rod.

Purchased it with the intention of using it for Smallies on Michigan Rivers mainly, Rapala DT 6 and 10 cranks mainly...

Anyone with experience with this rod?

I used the rod yesterday, was actually very very nice, I am sort of confused by the 15-30 pound rating, to me it is not that stiff once you actually fish with it.

Anyone have experience with both the 7'2" and 7'6" crankbait models in this series?

How do they compare? Is the longer rod a little deeper flexing?

I'm not familial with the cranking rod so I can't offer an opinion. What I can tell you is I bought a Magnum 1 for jigging. It's a 10 in my opinion, I'm going to buy the spinner bait rod next.

Lews should do more promoting, It's a heck of a rod. But then they will have to raise the prices.. No win situation I guess.
