First Time On Toho

Featured Replies

My buddy and I will be making our first trip out to Toho tomorrow and being first timers out there we dont want to get skunked! I was just looking for some tips on where we should go. Any of you guys know the water out there?

Thanks in advance!

If I was going there for only a day, I'd stay in and around Shingle Creek.

There is plenty of grass on both sides that should be good.

Also, there is a shoal outside of it that should be fished hard.

For me the best colors of soft plastics has been watermelon and watermelon red. A spinnerbait worked through it would be a good idea also.

Good luck

Mike

Ditto to Mike. I would also suggest willow leaf blades with a silver and gold combo, white skirt. There was a shad hatch and they were busting on them outside the grass lines. Throw a Gambler Fat Ace too.
