What are you guys using this time of year? (north Nj if anyone is near me) I currently have Senkos, a crippled bait fish (i dont remember the name of the lure exactly) and some spinners. Anything else I should try? Should I be fishing the shallows yet? And what do bass tend to do in the summer?

Fish shallow. Banks. Early morning, late evening. Spooks, buzzbaits, jigs, t-rigs, frogs, rat l traps, etc.

Jigs & Pigs....Chatterbaits with a trailer! All year long Stick with the Senko as well!

Put down the plastic.  Go with cranks and jerkbaits or some other type of moving bait. Bass are in prespawn up North. They should be feeding.
