Mojo Rig

Heard Ike talk about it before... I guess its kind of a finesse take on the Carolina Rig... But how do I rig it, and where would I be useful?

Thanks,

You are correct, it is a finesse Carolina rig and is great for fishing submerged grass. Rigging is simple, slide the Mojo weight, or other small cylindrical weight, to where you want it, and use rubber peg strips to peg the weigh to the line. I purchased a Mojo finesse kit back in 2002 I believe and it was, and still is, a killer finesse rig but has been overshadowed by the drop shot.

It's basically just a splitshot rig. You can just throw a few shots on your line instead but it's not as weedless and even less so if they have the tabs on them. It kills dead summer in grass cause it stays above it and you can slowly drag a finesse worm or something similar.
