Kayak fishing and alligators? ....No thanks. It also seems like the biggest alligator in Florida would live in Okeechobee lol.

Sorry I am of no help. I am just rather amazed by this. Hopefully someone has some good tips for you.

Wow, that's a big lake to yak in. Stay clear of the

boaters, wear your PFD 100% of the time. And

let us know how it goes.

Yeah, sorry, I'm in VA, not FL, but I'd put my yak

in the big O, too. I'd just keep it near shore and

not venture into the big waters.

Other than that, I'm no help, sorry...

Clewiston, Belle Glade, we've fished these area's in a Uncle Bucks Pond Prowler. Stay in the canals and at Clewiston you can catch fish as soon as you put in. Lot of Tourneys out of there with released fish. Brian.

Agree...

Also, if you put in at Scott Driver on the north end turn right outside of the basin, you can fish the river for 10 miles.

Or turn left and fish up to and around the bridge.

If you go past the bridge, keep an eye out for boats coming out of Okeetanee

Seriously, Keep a watchfull eye out for anything long and dark coming toward you. If you're up againt the shore in the river and hear a low grunting or hissing sound....MOVE.

Stay out of the big water

Have Fun

Mike
