Solid reel and surprisingly good rod.  I got this combo during a similar sale early last year and I like it a lot.  If I had to do it again, however, I'd get the 6930 instead of the 6935.  The 6935 just feels a little large for this rod.   Not totally out of whack, but just not quite right.

Yeah, I bought two. One 6930 on a ML rod and a 6935 on a M rod.

I don't see any indication of a sale. At $100 are they on sale?

I think they've been on sale for a while and it must be up now. I looked at them last night and they were at $69.98 and when I looked again this morning they are back at $100.

Check that link out, I like the 6' M they have listed. Not sure why it's any different but these are going for $79.99.

Wow!  Yeah, the sale on the link I posted must be over.  The link that is posted above is only 10 bucks more than the sale price that I had posted and still looks to be a decent combo.  

I've got the older version of that same combo but with a full grip. It was my very first spinning combo so I've got soft spot for it! It sees duty throwing 5" weightless senkos and jerkbaits along the lines of Xrap XR08s. I can't complain about it in any fashion. Spooled with 8-10lb stren original it has boated more bass for me than I can count. It's just fun to throw.

Yeah, I think the ML combo I bought is going to see Ned rig duties and the M combo will see some dropshot work.  

This combo goes on sale ALL the time. I have a ML setup that I use for live bait and lindy rigs. Stout combo for the money.
