Just purchased my first fishing kayak and this is my first post on bass resource. Was just wondering wheres the best place to go? Fountainhead, Burke, lake ffx, riverbend??

Also, does anyone know if beaverdam reservoir is back open??

Start off on something small first! I would say check out lake mercer or a bigger challenge Burke. I'm not a kayak guy but would think to try something without a lot of gas powered boat traffic to try and get your sea legs first. Beaver dam was drawn down so far I doubt anything survived this winters freeze.
