New Bass Pro Shops Crankin Stick

Featured Replies

I purchased this rod a couple weeks ago and I'm pretty sure it's the perfect squarebill rod!! I've been looking for a squarebill rod for a little bit now. It's the 6'6" medium heavy. It has the shock flex technology. The tip flex is awsome, not too whippy and a great backbone to get fish away from the cover. I can be very accurate with this rod. I will be honest and say I haven't caught a fish on this rod yet but just really love the way it feels and for me it's not heavy at all. Just my opinion on this rod. I would recommend this one.

I have two of the old models and they are great, one in 7' M for small to medium crankbaits, light topwaters, and light spinnerbaits. I also have a 7' MH for most spinnerbaits and heavier topwaters. I had a 7'11" MH for big deep crankbaits as well and it was great, but I sold it to because I decided to upgrade and I needed the cash.
