Sun Dolphin Pro 120

Featured Replies

I'm starting to plan for next season, as I'm getting tired of bankfishing.  Looking at the Pro 120 with a troller and obviously small outboard.  Does anyone have experience with these?  Is it worth the money or a waste of time and money?

I would be fishing mostly a river and a small lake that only allows electric motors.

I had the basstender version amd it was a great boat. My friend had the sundolpin anf it was a little nicer. I would recliner it if you can afford it. If it's stretching your budget you can get a bigger aluminum with a trailer for the same price. You do need a trailer for these boats IMO. They can fit in a pickup with the tailgate down and the boat strapped, but they are extremely heavy. The hull design is a little slower than a lot of hulls. But they are very stable for a 12 foot boot. Probably more so than my 1542 jon boat.
