i dont know the weight on them i just add until i think its good im not very exact. its flashabou (i think is what its called) on the left one im guessing its pretty much the same as tinsel.

Ebby get that stuff at your local craft store.  Much more of the tinsel for far fewer pennies.  I went just after christmas last year and stocked up on a lifetime supply of that stuff for less than a single pack that is packaged for fisherman.

thanks for the tip, is it the same that is on double cowgirls?

The cowgirls have flashabou, about a whole packs worth.  If they were buying the same thing under a different name at the craft store they could sell those things for $10 instead of $20.

they are made for musky but i fish lakes with both and will take either!

so is the craft store stuff the same a flashabou? or what is the difference?

Just the name as far as I can tell.  Someone cuts strips of mylar and calls it flashabou instead of christmas tree tinsel then sells it for a whole bunch more.
