I've had two these for a few years and probably only fished them once. They seem like well made lures but I'm confused on how to fish it. Is it a popper or walk the dog style? Or kind of like a gunfish? Any help appreciated.

I have never fished these before but it looks like from the forums I read on other sites that people have been having problems determining that as well haha. From what I saw they said that they were having problems with the lure sinking in fresh water and that they believe due to the buoyancy of salt water that the lures are much more of a challenge to use in fresh water and were using specific rods for it. Which rods I could not determine but from what I read as well it seems like they fish it all the way from a jerk bait to a popper to a cigar bait (walk the dog style). I know this didn't answer your question but thought it may give some insight

ive got one and cant figure it out. i cant keep it on topwater i guess its maybe a sub surface walk the dog bait or something. wish ida put that ten bucks toward another gunfish
