Decorative Hand Carved Lures

Featured Replies

Hello,

Im looking for a decorative hand carved lure for my father, last feb Tinley Park Il HS puts on a fishing show that we attended. My father found one exhibit that the guy hand carved wooden lures that ranged from 4-20" long and were very nicely done. My father looked at every lure and was going to buy one but changed his mind and we left. Now that my father is retiring from his job of 45 years I want to get one for him to put on his desk. Problem is I can not find that exhibitor anywhere and when trying to find him I get nothing. Im even tried calling the show host and he's not returning my calls. I remember the guy saying he was from Joliet Il area. I am open to other carvers but from the pictures Ive seen I'm not that impressed.

Anyone that went to the show remember this exhibitor or know of a well made wooden lure?

I'll narrow it down a bit. Here is the list of exhibitors from the show. You can do the google searches to figure out which one it was.

Scott F, I tried that with no luck. Ive been in contact with the shows producer and he was able to give me his number. Turns out he does not have a website and is not listed in the exhibitors.

I was at the show and remember his booth but not the name. Who is he?
