Worms in my coffee!

Featured Replies

Do ya think if ya stored some soft plastics in a half full coffee container would it impart some scent into them? If so, how long do you think they would have marinate to get a good scent?

i doubt it. but then again, i don't make soft plastics so i wouldn't know.

but i would think that you'd have to add the coffee scent to the plastic before they are molded into worms.

just throwing them in the coffee container seems like a waste of coffee to me lol. i think the scent of soft plastics would get imparted to the coffee rather than the other way around.

I would use used coffee grounds.  They smell pretty strong and you wouldn't waste any coffee.

I've been thinking about doing the same thing and putting some of my soft plastics in with coffee grounds.  It might be worth a try...

thats a creative thought. I would put some plastics in a mixture of grounds and water and leave it for months. if you are from the north you should store some all next winter

You can put some baits into a container with coffee in it.  It will absorb some of the coffee smell.  A better bet is to use a coffee scent like the one from Upper Hand Scents.  They have a coffee shad scent that you can add as you are making your worms, or add a few drops in the bag of worms.  These work extremely well.
