New Frog Rig/trailor Hook. Hook Up More?

Featured Replies

I was tinkering around with my lures and decided to make some trailor hooks. Just used some electric wire with a 3-4 ot hook attatched to each pre existing hook.post-54267-0-64628000-1433452205_thumb.jpost-54267-0-29423800-1433452549_thumb.jpost-54267-0-29423800-1433452549_thumb.j Sorry the photos arnt so good quality.

Creative, I will give you that. Try these Lake Fork hooks that were made for this sole purpose.

I know about those, i even made one similar for a popper frog that has a single skirt, I made these for free instead of paying $6 each for ...... 3, thats $18 bucks that i saved and could make plenty more. But i might buy that and get the same frog/with same pattern that was shown in the image and do a commparison to see which catches more fish/or which looses the least.

Have you caught a bass on your creation yet? For an open water presentation it looks interesting. For dense cover, it doesn't look pratical. Best of luck with your creation.
