Raising big pond bass
Stock plenty of bream and have good shore cover like grass, lilly pads.

Preparing larger catfish?
I just caught AND ate a 25 pounder'. I skinned her, then fillet each side. I cut into chunks, battered in zatarain's Lemon Pepper Fish Fry and fried in oil on skillet. Taste so good everyone thought it was chicken!

FloridaBasser goes Florida"monster"Catter?
I went fishing yesterday at a private pond on a quail Hunting plantation and landed a monster catfish! It was a 25 pound channel catfish that i caught on a cut bream head fish on the bottom. I will upload pics and a landing video as soon as my friend who took them sends them to me. Biggest fish of my life... stay tuned for better story and pics.

Big Swimbait Fishing
Oh I know they will catch big bass, i was just wondering if anyone had any luck right around the spawning phases. I do like the Hudd's, especially the 6 inch one in golden shiner.

Big Swimbait Fishing
Has anyone been doing any good with bigger swim baits? I think the fish are still in the spawn/post spawn stages and might not be interested in baits that size right now. I have been catching them on the fluke around the weed lines just under the surface so i'm pretty sure their in post spawn phase and would be interested in eating bigger baits. Just want to know how the fish are reacting to the bigger baits.

Good artificial live bait?
Gulp alive minnows work great for panfish. I'd recommend catching bream with those Gulp alive baits and using the bream as bass bait.

The Most Amazing Thing You've Ever Caught That Wasn't A Fish!
Last summer I was fishing a small pond next to the St. Johns river. I had a KVD frog on, and I tossed it to one end of the pond and after a few twitches a Red Tail Hawk swooped down and grabbed it. For 10 or 12 seconds he was holding on to it and wouldn't let go, thank god he finally let it go! It was definitely the wildest thing I've caught.
