Super User everythingthatswims Posted February 8, 2016 Super User Share Posted February 8, 2016 Figured we should have one of these, bass aren't always the target species. I caught a few stripers and largemouth on Lake Anna the other day. Good fun as always, finally got some fish to eat those 2015 Bassmaster Classic Hype Baits.

Hog Basser
I was bass fishin and this guy came up and hit my lure the second it hit the water last summer, right up in the weeds near the bank. Not supposed to even have channels stocked in this lake, but they're in there.

Snakehead Whisperer
Caught this little dude on a silver buddy with 12lb test in December. He went 62.5 lbs. The bass fishing has actually been decent throughout most of the winter here, so my multi-species fishing has been mostly accidental. The only other noteworthy catch of this winter is this slab crappie my friend caught. Didn't weigh or measure it, but it was huge.
Hog Basser
2 of our 7 crappie caught while bass fishing this weekend. These two were the biggest at 1.65 lbs and 14.5 inches. The rest ran about 12-13 inches and 1 pound each.
Fishin Ethan
Caught this Southern Flounder in January. Used a baitcaster and the salt ruined it. It was 4lbs and cooked it up for dinner
