While having a cruddy go of it in finding Smallmouth in Erie, we happened into a pod of Walleye.  To lessen the sting of sucky bass fishing that day, dinner that night was certainly tasty...

I had quite the multispecies day Friday. Largemouth, smallmouth, bluegill, warmouth, white bass, walleye, channel cat, and drum, almost all on a Ned Rig. This channel cat was the largest fish of the day and gave quite the fight.

This is the biggest carp I have ever caught i think; 37". Big heavy fish who knows what the weight was. Almost spooled me what a run out to the middle of the river whew!

9lbs channel cat, caught it with my ultralight setup. He was a scrappy guy, gave me a run for my money.

They are great fried and they don't have any parasites at all like smallies and bluegill from rivers
