This is the latest (November 5th), I have ever caught a fish from the boat.  In my neck of the woods people are waiting to get on the ice. Very warm fall.  Fishing was slow, but had to go 1 last time. 

22" Hybrid, it ate a tiny shiner on a Carolina rig I was using for walleyes. The #4 Aberdeen hook surprisingly didn't straighten out!

Nice catches guys.

Though there may be snow on the ground, the spawn sac bite has been on.  Using uncured Atlantic Salmon spawn.

 

Couple very pretty wild trout today! My brother caught the brown which was was 17", I caught the rainbow, 20". All released.

Caught my PB walleye this evening, crushed the Alabama rig I was throwing. 4.8" keitech swing impact fats with a 5.8" swing impact fat in the middle. Thought I had a giant largemouth but you can only be so disappointed with a fish like this! 27", 5.68lbs, and a $20 reward tag in her back.

I just got back from walleye fishing and caught a cold. Nice job on the PB

Definitely kind of weird.  The bigger rainbows/smaller steelhead start to develop steelhead features including skeins and milt sacs, but are a lot smaller than the average steelhead parts would be.

Southwestern Virginia. The water I was fishing isn't even listed as trout water
