I got 3 today, 2 on a storm swimbait and 1 on a black and blue jig.

Ive been having issues finding fish, I finally got another crappie on a 3" storm wildeye shad. I let it settle to the bottom and slow rolled it back across some boxwood bushes I sank.

I started fishing them last spring and I havent put it down yet. I throw it every time I go out. Ive even started throwing it in the salt for stripers. I caught a houndfish on it too. 3/8 and 1/4 oz buckeye lures su-spin blade with a 3.5" berkley havoc grass pig.

Checking in from Virginia, still seeing some trout in our inlets. 808, bch, golden retriever and mardi gras mirrolures. 3" Gulp swimmin mullets on tandem rigs and 5" jerk shads on 3/8th jigheads.

Got my first crappie of the year earlier on a 3" storm wildeye swim shad.

I use crappie nibbles on a size 4 hook, weightless on an ultralight. Peel some line off and flip it out like youre fly fishing. Watch the line as it drops and youll see it jump. Ive never caught a crappie on one only bluegill, red ears, warmouth etc.

I got three in my pond this week, nothing big one dink and two around 1.5 to 2 pounds. Got em on a shakey head with a zoom straight tail worm and a 3" storm wildeye swim shad.

Its not required if your boat is powered by a 10hp or lower motor. Still recommended though.
