Best Shakey Rod For Bass - Money No Object

Featured Replies

The thing I like about this blank is the combination of light, sensative tip and tons of backbone to move 'em after you hook up.

I've yet to build on an MHX high mod blank. How does the sensitivity compare to some other brand's high end blanks?

Sensitivity is amongst the the best I've ever felt. You can feel everything the bait is doing and the slightest of bites.

I am familiar with JDM golf equipment so Megabass looks interesting. Does anyone have any experience of either of these beauties;

Destroyer Orochi X4 6'10" Aaron Martens Limited

Destroyer Phase 3 6'10" Aaron Martens Limited

Orochi XX Spinning Rod Megabass 7' Megabass Med Shakey

I have the X4 Aaron. Marten with a twin power on it. Fantastic for 1/8 oz Shakyhead.

Also for casting the Cumulus paired with a Purple Pixy, stock. Excellent sensitivity.

The G Loomis NRX is just in a different class to the Avids I have been fishing. The balance and sensitivity is just so much better.
