Using A Rubber Shad With Dense Underwater Plantlife

Featured Replies

Hey everybody, I typically slay largemouth bass with a rubber shad, but the lake behind my new place has pretty dense plant life in it and I keep just bringing in loads of seaweed along with my lure. Any suggestions I can use to avoid that? I hide the hook in the shad, but even the head of the hook itself is snagging plants. Recommendations on some top water lures to try as it's been a while since I used one? Maybe I'll go that route. Thanks!

Try a zoom speed craw rigged weightless and fished by just tossing it out and reeling it back on top buzzing it across the surface.
