Took my first trip this year yesterday.  It didn't live up to the hype I've been hearing, met fly fishermen that fishes daily and he said it was hype too.

I did get a couple of snook off the beach as well as a flounder.  That beach is one my most favorite places to go, I generally catch fish but that's not why.  It's clean, fresh, friendly people walking their dogs, it's just a lovely place.

Come on SirSnookalot,  one trip doesn't do the place justice, you and I both know that its called fishing and whether its Juno, Jupiter, Lake Worth or Palm Beach when the snook beach bite is on.... its on!

I think you missed the point, was my first trip this year.  I've been there dozens of times over the years, as well as Hobe Sound and Blowing Rocks in that immediate area.  I just happen to like Juno, it's not the fishing it's the atmosphere.  I don't fish near the pier, I'm just north of Marcinski rd fishing between station 29 & 32.  Not all beaches are created equal when it comes to catching, Juno can be good.  Right now in South Palm Beach County the beaches are loaded with mats of seaweed, very clear up at Juno which is another good reason to go up there.

Quite true the beaches can be very good from now until the end of mullet run.  I happen to enjoy catching snook, I do it year round.
