Headed up to Dreamstrike with my youngest girl. Bass were chasing shad continuously, everywhere. Started out with spinnerbaits and chatterbaits.

Got hooked up within 5 minutes. stayed with those baits almost all day. I did throw white swim jig for AWHILE, no takers..

Ended with 6 in a few hours. Hit the boat ramp, bank cruisers were everywhere, wanted my daughter to catch one more before we left, tied on a wacky rig senko, on the third toss, she caught a 4#. Woohoo, she could not hold it up so I had to help her. A good day.

 

 

 

 

 

Nice fish. My 9yo daughter fishes with me also. I love when she lands a nice fish.

That is what it's all about.  I love taking my daughter fishing.
