Does anyone own or have shot the Howa rifle line? I'm looking into the Gameking line in OD green. It's a little over 9 pounds in weight. Just wonder are Howa a decent or a great rifle line? I'm looking at the 300 win mag caliber.

Howa rifles are pretty underrated. I'm not saying they're a Cooper or Sako, but they're better than any 700 that's been made in the past 10 years or cheaper Savage. Howa makes the Vanguard line of rifles for Weatherby. They're pretty rock solid

Howa is a well built decent rifle. For value I would much prefer the CZ although I have never owned neither.
