Sniper 5 Lb.

Featured Replies

I been using it on my ultralight setup as a leader. I've had no problems with it but haven't caught anything big yet. Very small diameter which is why I use Sunline on most of my reels.

Very popular finesse line out west for 3"-5" soft plastics drop or split presentations.

bought this to use for drop shot and wacky rig , i havent opened it yet (the spool) probably might bring it to my local tackle store and see if they will trade me out with some 6 or 7 lb. was just wondering if the 5 lb. would hold up or should i definitly go with the 6 or 7 lb.

I would switch to 7 lb. This works great and is the best compromise IMO. I don't live in Cali and don't fish in super clear water. Also you have to order 7 lb. from TW down here as they only stock 8 lb.
