Heading To La On July 28Th... I Want To Fish :-)

Featured Replies

Hey fellow anglers, I am from Ohio. My wife and I are bringing our son to LA to visit Cal-Tech, UCLA, and USC. First trip ever to California. I fish about three days a week, mostly bass and walleye.

I looked at hiring a guide, but unfortunately it is not in the budget. I was hoping to find a fellow fisherman that has an extra seat open for the 28th. Of course I would be wiling to pay gas, lunch, ect.

I feel like it is a long shot, but figured it's worth a try.

Thanks,

Shad

You might want to PM Slade House, he fishes Castaic lagoon. I can help put you onto a bite on the main Castiac lake, if he is willing.

I fish Casitas and not available on that date.

WRB, I appreciate the info.  I know it is still pretty early to decide if you are fishing THAT day, but I figured I would throw it out there.

Go to fishingnetwork.net and get info and ask for so-cal help. So-cal guys are on here and really cool. If you don't find a guide for bass, go to the pier and fish. No license required. If you are traveling with your gear, buy some shrimp, squid or hammer swimbsits and enjoy. Welcome and no place like Cali.
