Looking For Club And Co-Angler Opps In Va

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am a new member, and I live on the Chickahominy river in Lanexa, VA.  About 40 minutes East of Richmond near Williamsburg.  I am looking for a good club to join, folks to fish with, and opportunities to participate in tourneys in the future as a co-angler.  I don't have a boat, and it makes getting to good bass habitat impossible here.

Thanks

I fish the Chickahominy Lake and River now and then, I live down in Newport News. I don't have a boat but I do have a kayak I fish out of. The other day my buddy and I rented a boat from Ed Allens, not sure if you've tried that yet.

Sam is the man when it comes to all the clubs around.  Definitely consider a kayak as there are so many HP restricted or electric only lakes around here to fish and a kayak makes them accessible.

Hey SkunkDoc - Bassin'Jake here,

Just moved to Williamsburg from SC.  Did you ever find any good clubs or beneficial organizations?  If so, can you help out a newby to the area?  I had a great club in South Carolina but looking for something local.

Thanks for any help,

BassinJake

Go to "Links" at the top of the Forum page and then select Bass Clubs.

Check out the Virginia FLW and BASS data and send them an email.

There are bass clubs in your area plus you are between Richmond and Tidewater so if you don't mind driving to meetings or launch ramps you can check them out.

Go to Virginia and contact the Federation's plus you can hit on the clubs that are listed.

Good luck.
