Irod,st.croix Or Somthing Else?

Featured Replies

Hey guys looking to get a new all-around rod to pair with a curado B and I was wondering what you would do if you were me, I have a friend that's on the irod prostaff that can get any rod in the gen 2 line up for about $100, so I was thinking about getting one but then I checked out st.croixs bargain room and they have rages for $90 so i'm torn on what to do. which would you get? or if neither one of them are worth it what rod would you recommend for $150 or under?(I have a tatula rod and its ok but I probably wouldn't buy another, so not interested in them) thanks.

What will you be using it for

I have a rage and it is up to standard St. Croix quality, paired with their customer service and warranties I would go with the rage.

If you're ok with the grips, guides and reel seat, go with the Rage.

Edit...I didn't mean for that to sound so negative.  I would fish a Rage rod.
