My brother gave me an old fly rod, South Bend is the model, 8' i think. I have never done fly fishing before, and i dont think i can get all that into it, but would like to give it a whirl. BUt the rod looks pretty weak and to be honest dont want to get a new one. But is there anywhere, or any one on here that can refurbish an old fly rod? thanks.

Unless it's bamboo, there isn't much to refurb...  clean it up and go cast it!
