Has anyone been to south lox lately ? Thinking about hitting it the morning!

Haven't been out there lately but from what I've gathered, you have to cover a lot of water to get on the fish. I've had good and bad days out there nothing in between. I get frustrated losing 4+ baits to mud fish before I even get a bass. Let us know how you do out there.

In Boca Raton LOX is smoked salmon.

I haven't bass fished in weeks, couldn't say where to go.

I have been receiving good reports from the alley. Lox reports have been quiet lately.

Hey. Went out 2 weeks ago to Lox. Caught a few fish. Nothing crazy. Biggest was 4-4.5 lbs. thinking of heading there this weekend again.

Pretty slow out there today. Fished from 7-10 got 3 fish biggest one at about 7.5lbs!

I have fished Lox many times over 30 years, but not in the last 2 years. A little bit of advice.

 

Be out at Lox at first light to have any chance a decent fish in the summer. By 9am, the bass are back in the glades and slop trying to keep cool.

Fish the hydrilla out by the bend and areas west of there as well as the trails into the flats.
