I wish I had a better camera, but this is my first go at a "wild bream" type pattern! Let me know what you think and any suggestions to improve it!

Nice pattern. I like those "3rd Helping Hands" for holding my baits while airbrushing. They really work great for holding jointed baits steady such as magic swimmers.

I know what you mean! There was a hole in the wall hardware store that closed and had them for 50cents/ helping had, so I bought all 15 they had left lol!

as in the black spot with red behind it?

yep. doesn't have to have red.

just about every sunfish species has a different gill spot.

bluegill just have a solid black spot, pumpkinseeds have a black spot w/ a half red half white margin, redears have a black spot with a red margin, green sunfish have a black spot with a white margin, etc.
