I guess I have a stigma with Chinese made products. Have 3 of these rods. They are my favorites. Beating g loomis and falcon cara st's. But part of me wishes they were made in japan (like I assumed) they are great rods. So I guess I won't worry about it

    Lots of things are made in China now. I had 3 Powell rods, all of them made in China. Yeah, I wish they were made somewhere else, but they were all good rods nonetheless.
