Diameter per pound rating isn't standard so it matters little. Anything that says 90+ for 12# line is gone for bass fishing. If you need some exact measurement, then use a line counter.

 True but I don't think there's any 30lb braid out there with a diameter bigger than any 12lb mono. It's just weird to me on how they come up with these numbers....

Marketing and specification are two different things, bud.

I'm guessing that they just used the mono diameter for all of the numbers, although that doesn't pan out either. I don't know why they would do that, or what possible marketing advantage would be gained by it, but I don't build reels for a living.
