I've never done fantasy for an AOY championship, but these were the easiest rosters (for peace of mind) I've ever picked, because everybody in this thing has been doing well.

 

A: Aaron Martens: How can you not pick the guy???

B: Matt Herren: Did some research on him, incredible dark horse pick

C: Randy Howell: Good solid pick, hard to go wrong with Randy

D: Chad Pipkens: This tournament sets up for him (yet again) and he's on tremendous momentum after St. Clair and Chesapeake Bay.

E: Jonathon VanDam: Of course

 

Am I the only one who's getting tired of watching dropshotting on Bass Live? I hope they mix it up a little this time.

Changed it around, after deciding that since Howell and Martens are both in the Classic already, I wanted to bet on guys who need a slot. 

 

A: Bernie Schultz: This was a points/dark horse move, the dude has been on fire over the last three tournaments and I don't see him slowing down. 

B: Matt Herren: Stayed with him 

C: Micah Frazier: This was a gamble. He's young, never been to a Classic, I figure he's gonna try real hard for the big championship. 

D: Chad Pipkens: Couldn't drop him 

E: Michael Iaconelli: Had to pick someone at the top of bucket E, which gives them a slight edge over people at the bottom, who pretty much need a win. 

These small mouth fisheries kill me. Seems like there's always a bucket where every guy is from Alabama and no one has even made a top ten north of the Tennessee River.

B. Christie....Garmin panoptix is huge for this type of fishing.

C. Elam...riding the momentum and has success in the north

D. Hite...can catch him when he wants and he wants to make the classic

E. Shimizu...good history with big lake smallies.

Christie was a solid pick.

J pow choked today...

Bhite roared back but day 1 killed him.

Elam in good position and Shimizu had a solid showing for E bracket.
