Where is the serial number on a 1999 Johnson 225 High OutPut,i looked and didn't have any luck finding it ? I thought i had found it but it was between 2 parts on the motor & all i had was a sideview & couldn't make out what it was or if it was the serial number . God Bless & as always Thanks a Million

If memory serves me correctly it will be on the left side if facing from the rear. Look on the motor side of the tilt bracket. If I'm wrong, I'm sure way2slow will be along shortly to tell you the definitive answer. 

Your not wrong, that's where it should be. It's also on a round aluminum disc on the power head if the sticker has come off the engine mount.
