Best Sensitivity And Backbone?

Featured Replies

OKay I am looking at either the Shimano Compre or the Powell Inferno and I wanna know which one of those lines of rods is more sensitive while retaining a lot of backbone?

You're the one who has to decide that for yourself.  I don't know what "more sensitive" means to you, nor do I know what "a lot of backbone" means to you.

Now, if you're asking for opinions that is different.  I'd find a Fenwick AETOS or HMG that I liked.   Moderate price & lifetime warranty.  JMO

The Powell actions on their older rods were more "stiff" and had more backbone than just about any other rod in a similar rating.  Haven't picked up an inferno to tell you.  My idea of sensitivity is apparently different than others so I won't answer that.
