alright where is mr lopez lake kid.  Im headed up to lopez lake for the weekend.   probably by myself so Mr Lopez lake , got some tips? wanna go fishing ?

Too bad I saw this too late. Fish the main lake points dam and docks by marina. Jigs dropshots and deep cranks should work good. Last year around this time my friend flipped the dock next to the launch ramp and ended up with a 4 pounder a 2 1/2 pounder and a couple other bites. I caught a 3 pounder on a Yamamoto thin senko on the main point across from the dam it was good fishin!! Getting down there in 2 weeks again for the weekend

Yep be sure to flip the private dock on the left side of the launch. Good spot. Not the f dock. F dock is overfished. Last time I was there I caught a 5 lber on a green pumpkin jig on the main point by cottonwood cove. That was early september, haven't been there since but I'll be camping on the 6th/7th weekend. That was one of two fish I caught ALL DAY. And the only fish over 4 lbs I caught there this year. Another lake negatively affected by the drought and only getting worse...
