Tatula Type R Limited Edition & Revo Elite Aurora??

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

Been looking at a couple of reels on ebay the last few days and noticed that a seller has a Tatula Type R Limited Edition reel for sale.  What is the deal with this reel?  The reel is all red with the Tatula spider on the frame....  The listing says only 15 of these were ever made, and it also shows the bid is only at $200.  Are these reels considered that rare and valuable?

Also, the same seller has a Revo Elite Aurora Generation 2 reel.  Aside from the TT review on this reel, I don't see much info on this reel out there.  Once again, how rare is this reel in the US market?  Also, what is the going price for these?

I may try to snag these reels, if bidding doesn't go crazy on them...

Thanks for any info guys!!

Value is up to you.  I've got one of the Limited Type R reels.  Still in box.  Paid quite a bit less than $200, but seller wanted to get rid of it.  Zero experience with the Aurora.  I do know that many consider the Gen 2 Revos to be the best of the 3 generations and even some of the best in their price range.  Especially the Premier and STX.
