Cootz Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Hey I'm gonna be getting my license next spring and really want to try some tournaments and need to find a club or a series that isn't for the hardcore bassers with their 250 nerves and hds 12s mounted all over but more of a relaxed feel kind of club where everybody knows everybody note I live in st.cloud MN 1 Quote
MidwestF1sh Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 There's a ton of those in MN! I'm closer to the metro so those are the only ones I am familiar with. Google classic bass tournaments. It lists all the tournaments in MN. Just find a small local club in your area on their. I will say theres always gonna be somebody with the big bass boat rig. Quote

Any good metro clubs? I'm located in Plymouth. Just picked up my 16 ft tracker so I'm in the same boat at OP. My 40hp won't live up to the 60k boats, just want something with smaller boats but competitive! 1 Quote
Super User gim Posted May 18, 2016 Super User Posted May 18, 2016 A lot of these bass clubs or smaller, local tournaments/competition aren't advertised heavily. You may need to hear about them in person or at a local marina (or bar!) and read a poster or similar ad on the wall about it. The ones that are heavily marketed on public websites are going to have the big rigs and more anglers than just the weekend angler. Quote
