Been looking at the g3 eagle aluminum boats. The 16+17 footers. 

If you have one, can you chime in on what you like, features...and what you don't like. Local dealer has a 166 2015 model trying to work a deal on.

Hard to find any used, the ones I have found are 1 or 2 years old and less than 2k less than a new one. 

Not totally ready to pull the trigger unless it was deal I could not pass up right now.

Just looking for some opinions from owners or former owners.

Personally, all of the G3 boats at my local dealers have astronomical prices... I'm talking $18,000-$22,000 for a 17 foot aluminum. 

 

If I were gonna spend that much on an aluminum I'd get a Ranger RT 178. 

 

The same boat from Tracker would run you about $6,000 or $7,000 less.
