1/4Oz Light Wire Arky Jig Heads

Featured Replies

hello,

im looking to buy jig heads similar to the Yamamoto series 66

https://store.baits.com/product.php?productid=105

the issue with these are the shipping costs from the Yamamoto website and the only other store i found selling the series 66 had a very high price. i will probably end up ordering these if i cant find a good alternative.

ive ordered 1/4oz arky (and sparkie) heads from fishingskirts and Siebert Outdoors but they have heavy hooks and weigh closer to 3/8oz than 1/4oz.

does anyone know where i can find a 1/4oz arky style light or med wire jig head with a decent brush guard?

has anyone added skirts to the Yamamoto series 66 jig head and had them slip down? the skirt collar holder on the jig head looks more rounded than most jig heads. theyre made for hula grubs but would like to add skirts to a few.

thanks!

I have picked these up on amazon in the past as an addon to some other things i was buying.  the price was similar and the shopping was free.

I really recommend you take a look at Cadman's jigs and jig heads here: http://cadmansjigs.weebly.com

He is an active member of this forum. His service is excellent. take a look at his arky bass jigs (double collar). They have the Mustard ultra-point 32798BLN hooks which have a wire diameter of 0.043 inches in the 3/0 size which I would consider light wire. He can also make them in the Owner #5304 hook so it will be similar to the yamamoto heads but will probably have a better bait keeper and definitely better price.

Hope this helps.
