Im looking for a reel to put on either a:
7'3" medium power fast action TFO Gary Loomis Tactical spinning rod or

7'1" medium power fast action *** *** Black 2 spinning rod

 

Looking to throw some small soft swim baits with it. (3.8" fat swing impact and 4" swing impacts)

 

Which reel would be better? 

25X = 5.2:1

30x = 6.2:1

 

or a different $100 (plus or minus a few $$) reel.

I'd get the 35 size. Pflueger spinning reels tend to run a bit small.

The above is true - you should look at either the 30X or 35X ...30X for braid plus leader (#10lb.~ #15lb. braid with backing)  or 35X for straight FC line ( #8lb. FC with backing )
