Reel Service?

Featured Replies

Bought a old bantam curado 201 off an older mad I know for next to nothing. The reel has drag issues. No matter how tight I tighten the drag star down, the spool doesnt turn. May not be drag problem but something is wrong. Where can I send this for service? I dont need it cleaned because it is very clean, bearing and all, I checked but I need this fixed. Thanks

Delaware Valley Tackle, a sponsor here does great work.  Send it his way and he will take care of it for sure.

Exactly. I have used Mike for several reels...always outstanding service.

It could be that it was reassembled incorrectly. If you have the parts diagram you should be able to check that

Give Mike a call. If it's something simple you may save yourself some time.
