Me and my family had a great time fishing this Thanksgiving/Thanksgiving weekend. We caught a lot of Largemouth and Peacock bass.Helped my little cousin catch his personal best Largemouth Bass which was over 7 pounds. Now he's hooked for life and I am happy I was the one who taught him.I also caught many bass with 2 of them well over 6 pounds each. All the bass where caught from the bank and all where released to be caught another day.

That's awesome on many levels.

Thank you @fisherrw. I taught my little cousin many techniques to catch big bass. I have a feeling that he will catch one much bigger than the one he caught with me since he lives in Central Florida and is currently fishing a pond where people catch bass over 8 pounds often.

Nice my PB is only 9 pounds so maybe he will beat that someday!! Hope he does.... A bass over ten is a real trophy that I've been hunting for quite a while now!

@fisherrw, a 9 pound bass is a trophy sized fish anywhere you go and is a big accomplishment. You will eventually catch one the size you want just be persistent and determined and it will happen for sure.Find out which bodies of water around you are known for big bass and use tactics for big bass.
