New Jersey Bass Fisherman

Featured Replies

Hey i live in central jersey and want to know if anybody here knows of any ponds near me. Also how their luck has been at them

Not local to you, but also in NJ. Check out the states pocket ranger guide app. Shows plenty of public fisheries, with some info on size of the waters, species, and maps.

Swimming River Res is the best near you but you have to know someone that lives on the lake. Its trespassing to fish there. I don't know how strict they are about it. I know there is access by Brookdale College. I'm close to Toms River

Get caught there you get all of your equipment confiscated as well as a huge fine

If you live by the Hillsborough area, try Ann Van pond. Lots of big bass and catfish.
