Google Earth

Featured Replies

Was checking out my lake in Google Earth and saw my White Toyota and trailer in my usual parking spot at the Marina. Then found my boat on the lake in Jackson cove. What are the odds of that LOL

I googled earth my parents house once, and when I hit street view, I saw my family putting out Christmas ornaments at that moment... lol!!

You can actually see my brother, myself, and my best friend pretty clearly going down our neighbourhood street on Google Earth.

On google earth (street view) my teenager is getting into his car and looking at the Google car with a I don't understand look. It's pretty comical.

Couple of years ago Google Earth caught my Dad and one of his friends fishing out the boat next to the ramp. We printed it off and put it in a frame.

Pretty sure this is me fishing in one of my favorite areas during a tournament on a local lake....I was looking at Google Earth before another tournament on the same lake and saw a bunch of trucks/trailers in the marina we usually launch from, leading me to think the photo was taken during the tournament the year before.  Started looking at all my usual haunts and found this similar size/color/profile boat on one of my spots.

If it actually is me on that day, it's just before I caught a good fish on the point up ahead of me :).

I love Google Earth, it's my most heavily used research tool when it comes to fishing ;).

My local fishing buddy was discovered by my sons

when they were searching a local spot on Google Earth.

He's clearly sitting in his kayak just off the road.

Great tool for the most part.
