Alright everyone, I need some help. I'm trying to modify my Huddleston Swimbaits like the "SouthernSwimbait" rig (If you don't know what it is, there's a YouTube video explaining what it is & how to rig it). I have my 80lb leader material, split rings, treble hooks, and a crimper, but I'm not sure what size double barrel crimps I need. What size fits the best around 80lb mono? What's a good brand to look at? Where can I get some? Any help is appreciated, and thank you in advance!!!!

That would be size 1.0 mm HI-Seas Mini Double Barrel Copper Sleeves ~

That size works on 60 lb - 80 lb test Mono.

TW has them or you can get them from one of these vendors . .

You can also get crimps that will work at most any art supply store, like Michaels or Hobby Lobby.   They are in the jewelry making section.  They aren't double barreled, but the leader can be looped and run back through.

I use 80 or 100 lb Fluorocarbon leader for my home made jika rigs.   The sleeves are really small.   I don't think it hurts to use several.

They generally come in different colors and I don't know if that would make a difference in your case.  I generally choose the brownish neutral color instead of the brass or silver or copper.
