Just honest wear, now it's comfortable and "lived-in"...

Goose my friend it has been a while since I've fished in conditions like that! I have been there and done that, but I am to old to take the cold anymore. I am sitting here in my 70° living room with several layers on...

I also think that a little wear and dirt add character. I have more than a little wear on me! 

I have used different BPS rods over the years, and have never had any issue with them.  They have all been great.  When I am ready to buy another BC reel I am going to look at the PQ, but I am going to hold on to my receipt.
